Are you watching Lanterns? Ratings and critical response imply that you very well might be. Which is why we’re talking about ti again. If you’re wondering “wait, didn’t you do this before?” Well, yes and no! We did have an episode about the Green Lanterns a few weeks ago where we talked about the history of the comic character and his importance to popular culture and comic book history. Well, now we’re gone 75% of the way through the new TV series and we’re loving it enough that we felt like it might be a good idea to talk about the show specifically. So on this epsidsode, Hannah, Wayne and Mav are joined by returning guest Matt Brake to talk all about the show, why it works, and why it’s been so successful in what has otherwise, at least lately, been a fairly dreary superhero media landscape.
